Chief Dr. Kehinde Ademola Morohunfola
Chief Dr. Kehinde Ademola Morohunfola, co-chairman of AMMEF board, is the Akogun of Offa. He is the son of the Late Akogun of Offa, Chief Abraham Akintola Morohunfola, and the great grandson of the first Akogun (Courageous leader in battle), Chief Bankole Adegoke Alao.
Chief Dr. Kehinde (Kenny) Morohunfola was born a twin to Chief Abraham Morohunfola and Late Mama Mary Ayanladun Morohunfola. Chief Dr. Kehinde Morohunfola is married to Chief Mrs. Ajoke Morohunfola and is blessed to be the father of three sons.
Chief Dr. Kehinde Morohunfola had his undergraduate and medical education at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University). He graduated with Bachelor of Science in 1978, and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB, BS) in 1981.
Chief Dr. Kehinde Morohunfola completed his rotating internship at the General Hospital, Ilorin and the Maternity Hospital, Ilorin. After completing his National Youth Service Corp (NYSC), he joined the University of Ilorin Medical School as a Lecturer in the Department of Anatomy.
Chief Dr. Kehinde Morohunfola left Nigeria to pursue his post-graduate education at the University of London, Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1985. After a year, he left London to continue his post-graduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University, Hershey Medical Center where he was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D) in Anatomy in 1992. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the same institution in 1993.
Chief Dr. Kehinde Morohunfola is a founding partner at Encompass Medical Group based in Kansas City and currently serves as the Vice President of the group.
Chief Dr. Kehinde Morohunfola is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He was baptized at First Baptist Church, Minna, Niger State in 1967. He currently attends Blue Valley Church, Overland Park, Kansas, USA. He has served as a deacon in the church and is a regular Sunday school class teacher. He has fully surrendered his life to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
In cooperation with his siblings, Chief Dr. Kehinde Morohunfola established the Akin Morohunfola Educational Endowment Fund (AMEEF) in 2009 in honor of their father, Chief Abraham Akin Morohunfola, the Late Akogun of Offa. Over the past 15 years, several students, many of whom are natives of Offa, have been sponsored for their post-secondary education. The foundation was recently renamed Akin and Mary Morohunfola Educational Foundation (AMMEF) in honor of both parents. Chief Dr. Kehinde Morohunfola, is co-chairman of AMMEF board with his twin sister, Pastor (Mrs) Olayinka Taiwo Oyelowo.
